Establishment of PT. Kansai Energy Solutions Indonesia and Adoption of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Funding Support Project

Kansai Electric Power Establishes KESI in Indonesia & Selected for JCM Project In November 2024, Kansai Electric Power established PT. Kansai Energy Solutions Indonesia (KESI) in Jakarta to provide sustainable energy solutions, including solar power systems. In December 2024, KESI’s project was selected for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Funding Program by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment, aiming to reduce approximately 12,000 tons of CO₂ over 17 years. Kansai Group remains committed to supporting decarbonization initiatives in Indonesia and across Asia.
